IP - The Secretary-General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, Hissein Brahim Taha, denounced Israel's actions in Lebanon and urged an immediate halt to hostilities.

Iran Press/Europe: Speaking at an international conference in Paris to support Lebanon, Taha reiterated the OIC's commitment to the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

French President Emmanuel Macron called for the International Conference in Support of Lebanon's People and Sovereignty, which convened in Paris.

Taha condemned Israel's actions in Lebanon as "brutal aggression," reaffirming the OIC's support for Lebanon's sovereignty and territorial integrity. He called for an immediate ceasefire and urged the international community to ensure lasting peace by fully implementing UN Security Council Resolution 1701.

He also called on the world to step up and provide more humanitarian aid to Lebanon, particularly for those who have been forced to flee their homes because of the fighting.
