Iran Press/ Iran News: The editor-in-chief of the Kayhan newspaper Hossein Shariatmadari told Iran Press that with the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the world witnessed a new ruling system that was established based on pure Islam, something that could be just read in books.
Shariatmadari said that the enemies likened the Islamic Revolution to an earthquake that would change the world.
Referring to Imam Khomeini's people-oriented soul, the Head of Iran's Department of Environment Ali Salajegheh told IranPress that Imam Khomeini's actions caused the enthusiastic participation of the people in the political scenes of the country. Salajegheh added that the Iranian officials should follow Imam Khomeini's people-oriented soul as well.
Mayor of Tehran Alireza Zakani also told IranPress correspondent: "The values of the Islamic Revolution can guide the world. Iranian officials should follow the thoughts of Imam Khomeini."Still, the former president of Iran Hassan Rouhani noted that Imam Khomeini gave honor to Muslims and taught them to encounter colonialism which will bring the true status of Muslims to the world.
Minister of Sports and Youth Hamid Sajjadi said that the young generation should follow Imam Khomeini as a role model in their professional life.
