Iran Press/Asia: According to the military, several balloons crossed the border and fell in various locations across South Korea from Tuesday night to Wednesday, scattering waste on the ground, including plastic bottles, batteries, shoe parts, and manure.
The military has warned residents to not touch the objects and report to the military or police if they discover them.
This came after North Korea's warning that it will send "mounds of wastepaper and filth" over the border, in a "tit-for-tat action" for South Korea sending "dirty things" to the North.
