Tehran (IP) - Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman while rejecting a recent baseless report by the US State Department stated the new allegations are derived from fabrications, conspiracies, and illusions aimed at psychological war and pressure.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyyed Abbas Mousavi said: "This so-called report, as usual, is a mixture of fantasies and false accusations that have never been documented and are presented by those who have intervened in at least 55 independent countries in the last century under false pretexts that there is a long list of illegal actions against the peoples of the world, and analysts and researchers have published hundreds of books on the subject."

Mousavi added, "In terms of sanctions and economic terrorism alone, and according to the US Treasury Department, 33 countries have been sanctioned since 2017 and many of these unilateral and extraterritorial sanctions have had a devastating effect on the people of those countries."

In another part of his speech, Mousavi noted, "The US scandal of spying world leaders, who were mainly allies of the United States, is another black and horrible record of this rebellious government."

Mousavi called the United States one of the most pro-terrorist governments in the world, and more importantly, a terrorist state, by referring to the civilian casualties of drone strikes in at least five countries including Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Somalia, Libya, and Yemen.

In the end, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman emphasized that "Considering these factors, the United States has no political, legal or moral authority to judge other countries, and it is better for it to pay attention to its dirty and bleak history first. In particular, because the State Department's management is now proud to say that lying is a factor in its progress.
