New Delhi (IP) - Indian Shia Muslims mourn from the 1st of Muharram to the 8th of Rabi-ul-Awl, which marks the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hassan Askari (AS).

Iran PressAsia: According to Iran Press correspondent, Indian Shia on Saturday night, in the last continuous mourning from Muharram, started a mourning procession by gathering in front of New Delhi's Jama Masjid.

Indian Shias, especially young people, took part in the mourning procession in the streets of New Delhi. The mourners were all dressed in black.

The last day and night of Indian Shia mourning ends on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hassan Askari (AS).
