Iran Press/Middle East: The Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah in a televised speech said that the first thing to talk about is the Coronavirus, he added the problem with this virus is that it is still unknown to the world.
"Coronavirus has become a concern for the whole world, not just for Lebanon or the countries of the region,": Nasrallah said
He stated that we are facing a virus whose threat is clear and widespread. Though losses in the economy, education, etc. can be compensated, human losses cannot be compensated. We have to look at health officials as frontline officers and soldiers.
The Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah said: "We are facing a completely human struggle and we must deal with it with a completely human spirit.
"Coronavirus does not know race, religion, clan, region, climate, and it is such cholera unbound." Nasrallah reiterated.
He addressing the Lebonese and all people watching his speech said "It is your duty to protect yourself and your life and the health of your family and the health of the people around you. It is a religious duty and whoever fails to do so has committed a great sin. We need transparency and honesty in this fight against coronavirus."
“Responsibility vis a vis coronavirus is comprehensive. Everyone in Lebanon is responsible for fighting it all in his specialty and the time is not for settling scores or bickering,” Hezbollah chief said.
Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah condemned the US last night airstrike on the Popular Movements Forces (Hashad al Shaabi) in Iraq, he said, "The crime that the Americans committed in Iraq will receive a proportionate response," adding that the Iraqi nation will never tolerate living under humiliation.
Referring to the US administration's offer to help Iran in the fight against coronavirus, he said the US President is a lier, adding that Iran doesn't need the US help and under these imposed inhuman sanctions Iran is acting bravely in the fight against coronavirus.
He said what Trump must do is lifting the sanctions against Iran. Lebanese Hezbollah chief added: "The US president is trying to downplay the danger of Coronavirus and its aftermath in the United States, while an American official revealed his lies in this regard.
Nassrallah also said Trump claims he wants to help Iran, this is hypocrisy because anyone who claims to help must first lift health and medical sanctions.
Hailing Iran's efforts in the fight against coronavirus, Nasrallah also criticized the approach of some Arab media of the Persian Gulf toward Iran and its fight against the coronavirus and said, "They [Iranians] are in the front line of the battle and many of them have been infected during the battle."
