Tehran (IP)- Iran's energy sector has the potential to tap into the Latin American market by exporting technical and engineering services, according to a member of parliament.

Iran PressIran News: Hojjatollah Firouzi emphasized the significance of President Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi's recent visit to Venezuela, Nicaragua, and Cuba, stating that it could strengthen Iran's position in the region and lead to the development of commercial and economic relations.

Firouzi noted that Iran has been redefining its relations with surrounding countries and independent states, taking significant steps toward boosting political, trade, and economic ties. In addition to oil and petrochemical exports, Iran has restored Venezuela's refining capacity and plans to overhaul some of its refineries.
