Moscow (IP) - The scientific meeting of "The Holy Prophet (PBUH) Herald of Unity" was held in the presence of the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran and a group of Russian Sunni and Shia Muslims and thinkers at the representative office of Al-Mustafi University in Moscow.

Iran Press/Europe: According to Iranpress news agency from Moscow, on the occasion of the birthday of Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (pbuh), a group of Sunni and Shia scholars and thinkers presented their articles and views on the topic of "The Holy Prophet (pbuh) Herald of Unity" in a meeting to deal with the challenges facing the Islamic world.

Kazem Jalali, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Russia, at the beginning of this scientific meeting, explained the necessity of Muslim unity in today's complex world and said: More than four decades ago, Imam Khomeini, with his foresight, realized the necessity of Muslim unity and named the interval between the birthday of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) according to the narrations of Sunnis and Shiites as the Week of Unity.

Kazem Jalali emphasized that the enemies of Islam seek to achieve their illegitimate goals by creating divisions and fueling differences between Shiites and Sunnis.

He pointed to the continuation of brutal crimes, genocide, and terrorist acts of the Zionist regime in Palestine and Lebanon and said: If Islamic countries were united, this bloodthirsty regime would not have dared to commit such crimes against humanity.

Hojjat-ul-Islamwal-Muslimin Dr. Abdulahi, director of Al-Mustafa University in Russia and Eurasia, also pointed out the necessity of unity based on the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in this meeting and said: By adhering to the luminous verses of the Holy Quran and the teachings of the Prophet and the religion of Islam, unity and empathy can be achieved.

In the continuation of this meeting, "Anar Ramazanov", a Sunni mufti and a member of the spiritual administration of Russian Muslims, "Haj Zulfiqar", a Shiite scholar, "Haj Nizami Baloglanov", the head of the Moscow Ahlul Bayt Jamiat, and "Aris Hazrat", a Russian Sunni scholar, expressed their views on ways to achieve unity among Muslims.204
