Fever- like enthusiasm is felt all across the Russian capital of Moscow as the The 2018 FIFA World Cup draws near.In just 24 hours the big event will start and the world is looking at Moscow as the host of this exciting event .
Football spirit is felt every where and all the football fans from all around the world have rushed to Moscow to get their fan cards and wish for their favorite team to win The fans of Islamic republic of Iran's national football team are no exception.
"The Iranian sportsmen are hare with hope to win .we hope they will be happy when they are leaving here ."said one of the Iranian fan of the Iranian football team .
"If we can win Moroccan team the we could say half of the route has been paved."said another Iranian young man.
Group B will kickoff with the two teams of Iran and Morocco facing each other on the Krestovsky Island in Saint Petersburg. Both Morocco and Iran are only given outsider chances in what is a difficult group that also includes 2010 world champions Spain and current European champion Portugal.
Iran's national soccer coach Carlos Queiroz said they are completely ready to meet Morocco at the 2018 World Cup, Tehran Times daily reported on Wednesday.
"Morocco is an African country but most of their players were born in the European countries and grown up there. They take advantage of a good coach and have also creative players. We respect them a lot and I am sure they respect us a lot too," Queiroz told reporters at BaBakovkaamp in Russia.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup will be the 21st FIFA World Cup, a quadrennial international football tournament contested by the men's national teams of the member associations of FIFA. It is scheduled to take place in Russia from 14 June to 15 July 2018, after the country was awarded the hosting rights on 2 December 2010.
This will be the first World Cup held in Europe since the 2006 tournament in Germany, the first ever to be held in Eastern Europe and the eleventh time that it has been held in Europe. All of the stadium venues are in European Russia to keep travel time manageable.
The final tournament will involve 32 national teams, which include 31 teams determined through qualifying competitions and the automatically qualified host team. Of the 32 teams, 20 will be making back-to-back appearances following the last tournament in 2014, including defending champions Germany, while Iceland and Panama will both be making their first appearances at a FIFA World Cup. A total of 64 matches will be played in 12 venues located in 11 cities. The final will take place on 15 July at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.
The winners of the World Cup will qualify for the 2021 FIFA Confederations Cup. Pre-tournament, favorites to win the final were Brazil, France, Germany and Spain.
