Tehran (IP) - The government spokesman in his weekly presser held virtually on Tuesday said: "We do not think that the militarization of the Persian Gulf will be in the interest of any country in the region and the world, and we hope that the United States will finally give up its adventure in the region by abandoning its interventionist and divisive policies."

Iran PressIran news: Asked about the possibility of establishing a joint Russian-Chinese, Iran military base in the Persian Gulf or the Sea of ​​Oman, Ali Rabiei said on Tuesday: "Our friendly relations with Russia and China are at the highest level, although we have limitations to deepen these relations in all We have no political or economic aspects."

the government spokesman said: "As we have stated many times, including in the Hormuz peace initiative, security in the Persian Gulf region must be provided by the countries of the region. This is the only way to achieve security for all countries and to ensure long-term peace and stability."

Rabiei said that Iran and Russia have good cooperation in various fields, including defence, adding that this cooperation is also underway at the regional level in addition to bilateral cooperation. The two countries' common positions on the fight against terrorism and extremism have provided a common ground for regional cooperation, including in Syria.

Else where, while referring to the joint meeting between the government and the parliament and Monday evening meeting of the heads of the three branches of  Iran's government , Rabiei said: "Both in the government and the parliament and the meeting of the heads of the forces, Iran's 2021 budget was discussed.

He said: "There are differences in revenues and expenditures of the budget, and in this regard, the views should be closer to each other."

The spokesman of the government also referred to US President Donald Trumps' leaving the White house said that the world would be the safest place without presence of martyr Solemani's murderer.
