Lebanese President Michel Aoun

Beirut (IP) - The Lebanese President called on the Lebanese representative to the United Nations to inform the UN Secretariat to protest the continued violation of the country's airspace by the Israel regime.

Iran PressMiddle East: Michel Aoun issued the order after the Israel regime used Lebanese airspace to target Syrian territory, the last of which took place this Thursday morning.

Israel's repeated encroachments on Lebanese airspace, land, and sea are a clear violation of Security Council Resolution 1701, which was issued to end the 33-day war.

This morning (Thursday), the SANA news agency reported that the Syrian air defense was confronting the missiles fired by Israel in the skies of the western suburbs of Homs and shot down a number of them.

The crisis in Syria began in 2011 with a massive offensive by terrorist groups backed by Saudi Arabia, the United States, and their allies to shift the regional equation in favor of the Israel regime.
