Mashhad (IP) - Millions of Iranians in Mashhad, Khorasan Razavi, walked into the streets of the northeastern city of Iran, to commemorate and mourn the martyrdom of the late Commander of Qods Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani.

Iran Press/Iran news: All Mashhad has turned black with a dense presence of the people from all walks of life carrying martyred Lieutenant General Soleimani images in their hands at the colossal funeral ceremony.

Showing their clamor and anger against the US, the people also chant anti-US and anti-Isreali regimes slogans.

People of Mashhad honoring Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani martyrdom

Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani was assassinated along with several senior members of Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) on Friday Morning 3 January at Baghdad International airport.

Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani was awarded by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei as the first Iranian military official to hold Iran’s highest military order, the Order of Zulfaqar after the 1979 Islamic Revolution. 104/219
