Iran Press/ Iran news: Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said on Wednesday night in a ceremony entitled "Satatus of epic, Poetic Whisper, Songs to mourn for commander of hearts" at Vahdat Hall: "Martyr Soleimani fought for forty years to defend the nation and the oppressed and revive Islam, away from the political uproar."
He added: "Martyr Qasem Soleimani was an artist for the fact that he rose from the hearts of the people and remained to the end with the people and fought together with the people. He always defended the oppressed with the oppressed people, as we saw in the sacred defense."
The Speaker noted: "He did not hesitate for a moment and was at the peak of his calmness in the most difficult moments of the conflict, which embraced death."
Ghalibaf added: "Martyr Soleimani was an artist because he only feared God, his anger was raised from the merciful heart, he was avenger, but he was a forgiver."
The Speaker of the Majles said: "Martyr Soleimani was a man of the battlefield and a fighter, but he was a negotiator. He was brave, but his courage was accompanied by rationality and prudence."
Referring to the fact that he had two elements of reason and justice, and he was a man of trust and a man of hope, he said: "Now it is we who must learn these arts from the Soleimani's school of thought."
In the ceremony, a group of Lebanese people also performed two pieces of music to mourn for the martyr Qasem Soleimani.
At the end of the ceremony, the artists performing the symphonic orchestra pieces in the presence of the family of Martyr Soleimani and the Speaker of the Parliament were honored.
Former Chief-Commander of IRGC Quds Force Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani, former Deputy Commander of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, and their companions were assassinated outside Baghdad International Airport on the direct order of the former US President Donald Trump.
The United States assassinated General Soleimani while he was in Baghdad on the formal invitation of the Iraqi government.
