Iran Press/ Iran News: President Raisi and his cabinet arrived in Arak, the capital city of Markazi Province in central Iran, on Friday as his 29th provincial trip.
Upon his arrival, President Raisi said Markazi Province is the industrial hub of Iran and enjoys many heavy industries that symbolize self-confidence and national pride.
The president is expected to assign a budget for supplying drinking and agricultural water, the essential demand of the province.
He is also expected to financially help the renewal of the province's infrastructure, including sewage system and roads, expansion of the Arak rail network, operating new projects in the agriculture sector, building health centers and hospitals, and hiring expert health staff.
Alongside President Raisi visiting different parts of Markazi Province, the Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Mohammad Eslami, is traveling on Friday to Khandab to see the industrial capacities of the city and examine the challenges and solve its problems of it.
Khondab is the city and capital of Khondab County, Markazi Province, Iran. The heavy water reactor IR-40 is located near this city.
