Islamabad (IP)- Malaysian Member of the Parliament  Syed, Ibrahim Syed Noh has called Trump's statement about occupying Gaza territory "outlandish and impulsive."

The Malaysian Parliament member made the statement during an exclusive interview with Iran Press at the "Echo of Palestine" International Conference in Islamabad.

Why it matters:
US President Donald Trump's statement about occupying Gaza and expelling Palestinians from their land has sparked a new debate, and voices are being raised against this statement from around the region and the world.

The big picture:
The Zionist forces have been trying to occupy the Palestinian land for decades. After the ceasefire, these Zionist lobbyists used the plan of U.S. President Trump to get involved more in Palestine and Gazans' affairs, and now they are publicly making statements about occupying Gaza, which is completely against international law.

What he's saying:
Talking to Iran Press, the Malaysian Member of Parliament Syed Ibrahim Syed Noh said that everybody has been saying that Trump's plan is foolish, outlandish, and impulsive.

"Netanyahu did the destruction, the massacre, and the genocide," he said, adding, "We must consolidate, collaborate,..., we have strong voices from around the world, the people around the world have witnessed the genocide and the destruction in Gaza."

We must consolidate efforts and ensure the UN plays a key role. They need to reconvene soon to promote a strong push for the reconstruction of Gaza, the politician highlighted.
