Iran PressIran news: Major General Mohammad Bagheri, the Chief of Staff of Iran's Armed Forces, attended a conference titled “Sacred Defense and its Impact on the National Security of Iran and West Asia” on Monday.

Speaking to a gathering of military officials and commanders, General Bagheri highlighted Iran's remarkable achievements in defense technology and self-sufficiency.

General Bagheri stated that Iran's defense industries have experienced unparalleled growth, emphasizing that the nation's self-reliance has reached impressive heights.

He recounted when Iran was compelled to seek foreign sources for even the most basic equipment. However, he proudly noted that those days are behind them, stating, "Today, the enemy sanctions Iran against selling weapons, but the major countries of the world are seeking our weapons."

General Bagheri said that a significant point of pride for Iran was the country's formidable drone production capacity. "Today, the customers of our drones are many times more than our production capacity," he declared, highlighting Iran's growing prominence in the global drone market.

Additionally, General Bagheri underscored the changing landscape of regional defense, stressing that Iran's support for the "Axis of Resistance" had empowered these groups to become self-reliant in producing their weapons.

He noted that the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) had played a crucial role in expanding the capabilities of organizations like Hezbollah and resistance movements in Palestine.

The Chief of Staff emphasized the significance of self-reliance in software aspects, viewing it as equally vital as hardware independence.

He praised the ability of Iranian forces to collect strategic information, formulate plans, and prepare for future conflicts, all of which were outcomes of the sacred defense experience.

General Bagheri concluded his remarks by expressing his unwavering belief in overcoming challenges. "We have found that there is no dead end in the way of progress in the holy defense," he asserted.

He urged future generations to draw inspiration from the lessons learned during the sacred defense era, emphasizing that "there is no impossible way" and that creative solutions can always be found.
