Iran Press/Europe: The police reported that the special bomb disposal team arrived at the scene and destroyed the suspicious package within the station by a controlled explosion.
The police released no further details about the incident. The officials in charge of the station said that the incident caused chaos in the timetable of the trains' commutation and disrupted providing the passengers with railway services.
Also, a similar incident happened on Friday in Gatwick, the UK's second busy airport and it caused the police to evacuate thousands of passengers and employees from the airport's southern terminal; after seven hours as it was ensured that there was no security threat, the airport was reopened.
Hundreds of flights were disrupted due to the threat.
Earlier, a suspicious package near the US embassy in London caused the bomb disposal team to attend the place and destroy the package on the spot with a controlled explosion. Residents living around the US embassy reported hearing a terrible sound.
Still, the police have not released further information about the chaos.
According to reports published by British Railways, more than 15 million passengers move from Bostone station in the center of London every year.
Boston station is one of the 10 busiest stations in the country.
