Iran Press/ Iran news: Meeting with martyr Soleimani's family on Sunday, Ayatollah Khamenei stressed that the resistance in Gaza for nearly three months was due to the existence of the resistance front.
At the meeting held on the threshold of General Soleimani's martyrdom, Ayatollah Khamenei said that martyr Soleimani made a lot of efforts to revive the Resistance Front and carried out the task with sincerity and wisdom and for the sake of God.
Appreciating the current commander of Qods Forces of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Esmail Qaani, he noted: "Resistance Front's line must be continually followed."
The late Commander of Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Lieutenant-General Qasem Soleimani, who had traveled to Iraq on the official invitation of Iraqi officials, was assassinated by the US air-raid in Baghdad on January 3, 2020, along with the second-in-command of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and 8 companions.
