Iran Press/Iran news: On the occasion of Basij Week, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei received a group of hundreds of Basij Forces from different walks of life and employed in different organizations across the country in the Imam Khomeini Hussainiyah on Monday morning, November 25, 2024.
Death Sentences Should be Given to Netanyahu
The leader of the Islamic Revolution referred to the Israeli PM and officials including war ministers action in genocides in Gaza and Lebanon and said the ICC issued a death warrant for Netanyahu and the former war minister but it is not enough and a death warrant should be issued for Zionist Regime PM and War Ministers.
“The (ICC) arrest warrant is not enough, Netanyahu's death sentence must be ordered,” Ayatollah Khamenei said.
Bombing of Houses is not a Victory
Referring to Israel's aggression on the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, the Leader said the bombing of houses is not a victory but “a crime”.
Ayatollah Khamenei said that attacking and killing civilians and destruction of hospitals and refugee centers are not victory but it is a war crime.
The enemy has not won its wars on Gaza and Lebanon, and it will never be able to do so, Ayatollah Khamenei asserted.
Basij, A Unique Phenomenon against Hegemonic Power
The leader of the Islamic revolution called Basij a unique phenomenon just in the Islamic Republic and stressed that no other country in the world has a such phenomenon because it is the result of self-confidence and self-sufficiency and rooted in Iranian culture and religion.
Ayatollah Khamenei said that Basij has played constructive roles in all scientific, cultural, and political arenas.
Martyr Shahriyari who was assassinated by the Zionist enemy was a pure Basij force.
The Leader hailed Basij as the direct opposite of hegemonic powers, which are trying to manipulate national beliefs, saying that hegemonic powers try to take away the capabilities of nations, but Basij will destroy the enemy.
Basij should strengthen, expand, and maintain preparedness, the Leader emphasized.
