Iran Press/ Iran news: The leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in a meeting with the members of the headquarters for commemorating late Ayatollah Mohagghegh Damad on Thursday, called the senior cleric a true defender and the scientific pillars of Qom Islamic seminary in a real sense of the word.
Referring to the fact that many religious scholars and Islamic ulama have enjoyed late senior cleric's seminars and classes, his eminence went on to call him as an outspoken person especially in establishment of state and provincial associations before the victory of the Islamic revolution as well as the historic rising of Khordad 15, 1342 corresponding to June 5, 1963, when he was backing and supporting Late Imam Khomeini (RH) under Shah regime.
The leader also further mentioned the exclusive scientific attributions, popularity, piety among the characteristics of Late Ayatollah Mohaghegh Damad. His Eminence said that his pass away dealt a major blow to Qom Islamic Seminary.
Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei also referred to the publishing of some books by the late senior cleric and stressed that as many as possible of his works should be published so that people can have access to them. 207/219
