Iran Press/ Iran news: Eid al-Fitr is an important religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide. The event marks the end of the holy fasting month of Ramadan.
The Eid al-Fitr prayer was held in Imam Khomeini Grand Mosalla led by Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on Saturday morning.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution added that in the past, the enemies entered the countries with colonialism, this tactic has become ineffective today and they have realized that nothing can be done with military force, so they changed their strategy.
The Leader also stated that we must be up-to-date in knowing the enemy's methods in hostilities. Enemies may not do what they did 10 years ago today. We must find a way to counter these methods.
Ayatollah Khamenei said that the enemy is against the unity and integrity of the Iranian nation. And they want people to fight because of different opinions and tastes.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution went on to say that there are different views on issues in society, but this is not an obstacle.
People, officials should focus on basic issues
Ayatollah Khamenei stated that an important and basic strategy is the cooperation of the country's officials in the three branches of the government forces. The three branches should not hinder each other, but pave the way for each other.
Addressing the people and officials, the Leader noted they must avoid unimportant matters and stated, "Sometimes it is not the enemy that creates a problem, but due to negligence, a margin is created around a movement or a person. You should not be entertained by these things. You have to focus on the main issues."
Ramadan strengthens human will
The Leader stated that the holy month of Ramadan this year was very passionate and energetic; especially with the tears of the youth on the nights of Qadr, which were very prominent than ever.
"One of the characteristics of Ramadan is strengthening the will. Fasting has a great and important feature that strengthens the human will. Will is a tool that God has placed in humans to move and progress.Officials of the country should use this opportunity. It is with this strengthening of the will that the country's big problems can be solved."
