Iran Press/ Iran news: Ayatollah Khamenei received a group of the country's officials on Tuesday evening.
The Leader of the Islamic revolution stressed that the economy is Iran's top priority and the issue of people's livelihood is of paramount importance.
He highlighted the country's slogan of the year 'Controlling Inflation, Increasing Production' and reminded the authorities of the fact that economic-centered slogans do not mean that cultural and social issues should not be paid much attention to, yet a disturbed economy will leave its effect on the culture.
He went on: "Several consecutive years of high inflation; this is a very important issue. Years-long inflation affects the income distribution system, making the country's income distribution uneven. Sometimes we have been able to control inflation [on the one hand] but on the other hand, it has been associated with depression, which is to the detriment of the country. It is important to be able to control inflation so that production does not get stagnant."
"We have many capacities in the country. Some of our facilities are hardware. All these should serve to curb the inflation and shore up production growth," he said elsewhere in his speech.
Ayatollah Khamenei highlighted the stability of the economic policies and decisions as one of the prerequisites of the realization of the mentioned slogan: "That we constantly make changes in our monetary policies is very harmful to the country too, it is very harmful."
Then he presented some points about the issue of the economy on top of which was the fight against corruption which was stressed by President Raisi before and after the presidential election, noting that corruption was like a seven-headed beast the danger of which threatens the human being.
The leader of the Islamic Revolution also pointed to the crisis the Israeli regime is coping within the occupied territories of Palestine and said: "We said a few years ago [2015] that the Zionist regime would not see 25 years from then. They themselves are in a rush and want to leave sooner."
Protests and demonstrations are going on in the occupied territories of Palestine, including Tel Aviv, which were triggered due to Netanyahu's plan to reform the regime's judiciary, three months ago.
