Iran Press/ Iran news: Ayatollah Khamenei also thanked the outgoing chief commander of police Hossein Ashtari for his sincere efforts toward the promotion of the police forces.
Addressing Brigadier-General Radan Ayatollah Khamenei wrote: "I am appointing you as the Islamic Republic of Iran's police commander."
