Iran Press/Iran News: The Leader of the Islamic Revolution asked God in his Nowruz address on Wednesday to grant blessings to the Islamic Ummah and the Iranian nation and issued the motto of the new Persian year, "Surge in production through people’s participation"
Delivering a speech on Wednesday in Imam Khomeini Hossaniya, Tehran, Ayatollah Khamenei said that the motto of the year is assigned to concentrate the attention of the countries' authorities and people on one hand and promote the motto in the society.
Ayatollah Khamenei highlighted the economic theme of the mottos of the several past years and said that what was done in this regard during the past year good reports are presented but there is yet to what is desired in the economic prosperity of the country.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution said the enemies of Iran are seriously working to paralyze the country's economy, which has been felt during history.
"The enemy is active and persistent in the economic case. We must also be active and persistent, and move in the direction decisively and tirelessly day and night, and with the right thought," the Leader stressed.
"To make the country's economy flourish, all the big and small gears must get activated. People's participation must be used comprehensively to reach success. Achieving the goals of the 7th plan [of development] passes through the people. Mobilization of the people is useful in the important affairs of the country," he recommended.
Elsewhere in his speech, he shifted to the political issues and pointed out that unity has been the definite policy of the Islamic Republic since the beginning day of the establishment of the system, and stressed:
"Differences in taste and political differences should not cause hate-mongering; The enemy seeks to discourage you, you should try harder than the enemy, in order to flourish hope in the hearts of young people; The enemy seeks to prevent some voices from being heard, you should reach these voices to the ears despite the enemy's [intention]."
With regard to the region's developments, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution emphasized that the Resistance Front must be strengthened:
"The Resistance Front in West Asia must be strengthened day by day; The formation of the resistance front aimed to confront the constant oppression of Zionist criminals; The resistance unveiled its capabilities and messed up all the enemy's calculations."
With regard to the Palestinian resistance, Ayatollah Khamenei made the same comments, saying that Palestinian resistance groups spoiled the US' wrong calculations and made such a crisis for the Israeli regime that to come out of it is a crisis per se for the regime.
