Tehran (IP) - The Leader of the Islamic Revolution said the elegant participation of the people in the funeral ceremony of the late Iranian president and his companions martyred showed that the Iranian nation is alive.

Iran Press/Iran news: Receiving the families of the martyred officials on Saturday morning, Ayatollah Khamenei said that serving people and being with people were the brilliant characteristics of the late Iranian president and his companions martyred.

Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi, Hojjatul-Islam Ale-Hashem Friday Prayers Imam of Tabriz, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Malek Rahmati, General Governor of East Azarbaijan, pilot, co-pilot, crew chief, head of the security team and one of the bodyguards and several other companions were on board on way from Tabriz, northwestern Iran, to Tehran when their helicopter crashed on Sunday and all martyred along the president. 

He pointed to the enemies' propaganda to suggest a gap between the Iranian people and the Islamic Republic system, the crash incident and the nationwide commemoration of the president and his colleagues proved to the world that the Iranian nation was loyal to him and those who are the manifestation of the Islamic Revolution's mottos. 

He called President Raisi the manifestation of the Islamic Revolution's mottos and said: "From the very beginning of his taking part in the presidential campaign, Mr. Raisi emphasized the mottos of the [Islamic] Revolution and Imam [Khomeini's] words, such that the whole world knew him as the Revolution's President."

"When the people of Iran offer such great support and praise for the man, it means that they support the Islamic revolution's mottos," the Leader pointed out.

Ayatollah Khamenei referred to President Raisi and his Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and stated that the two martyrs' non-stop endeavors both within the domestic and transnational arenas is a long and detailed story to be told.
