Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's parliament speaker, Ali Larijani, in Today's Majlis open session stressed that illegal behavior toward Press TV anchor Marzieh Hashemi indicates that the United States just boasts about 'Human rights' only for the other nations. However, it put a blind eye on cases like Jamal Khashoggi.

Referring to US savagery toward Marzieh Hashemi, the top parliamentarian went on to say that If such events happened in Iran like the way the US treats this anchor or the measures like what France has done to the protesters was taken here, The United States would bring about hullabaloo while crying about human rights, Iran Press reported.
"So, this is another instance of US fabricated and untrue foreign policy in an international scale aimed at whitewashing their hostile way of ruling through tricky and deceitful rhetoric," warned Larijani.
According to Majlis speaker, such measures prove that Washington is not committed to any of the principles that it uses as pretexts to attack its critics.
On Saturday, the head of the IRIB World Service, Peyman Jebelli said Marzieh Hashemi, who was arrested in the US, is a symbol of the Islamic Revolution, and her detention in the US is a political move to pressure the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Pointing to Marzieh Hashemi's detention in the US, Jebelli added: "Mrs. Hashemi reinvigorated her life with the Islamic Revolution. She became a symbol of the Islamic revolution."
Speaking at a press conference in Tehran on Saturday, Peyman Jebelli said Marzieh Hashemi chose a different destiny, a different place to live, she changed her religion and accepted Islam, and became a Muslim, and changed her name with Islamic Revolution and also decided to wear Islamic dress, Iran Press reported.
Marzieh Hashemi was arrested at the St. Louis airport on January 13 and was transferred by the FBI to Washington. She has been jailed in the US for unspecified reasons.

The Head of the IRIB World Service said: "Supporting Mrs. Hashemi is support for the Islamic Revolution and its achievements. And it is our revolutionary, Islamic, and legal duty to support Mrs. Hashemi."
Referring to the media hype relating to Marzieh Hashemi case particularly in the US, Jebli added that Mrs. Hashemi's case is politically motivated, she has been jailed for political reasons, and it seems that US National Security Advisor John Bolton is behind it.
The Head of the IRIB World Service said the detention of Mrs. Hashemi is a political war that the US government is pursuing, and is seeking to put pressure on the Islamic Republic of Iran.203/103
