Iran Press/ Africa: The ceremony was dedicated to the virtues of Imam Hasan. During the ceremony which was held on Saturday Nurses Quarters Kasoa history and lectures about Imam Hassan were among the day's activities.
Sheikh Mahmud Ibrahim Al Tusi, a renowned scholar described this particular day as an opportunity for teaching the best deeds, the best morals, and the best knowledge, based on the teachings of the Quran and Ahlul-Bayt:
"This is the best time for us to know and learn the best deeds, the best morals, and knowledge based on the teaching of the Qur'an and make people understand Ahlul Bayt."
He further explained that this is a day of remembering the contributions and teachings of Imam Hassan (AS) to the Muslim Ummah, which serves as an inspiration for generations to come.
Imam Bakir an Islamic scholar who also grace the occasion read about the birth of Imam Hassan and the importance of celebrating this day.
Immediately after the program, an Iran Press correspondent interviewed one of the organizers of the event, Imam Mahfuz Haruna, who called on the entire globe to celebrate this important day in the history of Islam.
Imam Hassan (AS) is an example of piety, worship, humbleness, bravery, and magnanimity. His most prominent characteristic was generosity. He was born on the 15th day of Ramadan.
