Kharazi: Trump's insult at Iran signals failure in fulfilling his anti-Iran scenario

Tehran (IP): The chairman of Iran's Strategic Council on Foreign Relations, Kamal Kharrazi, in response to Donald Trump's insult at Iran called the move as a sign of Trump's anger due to not achieving his goals against Iran.

Iran Press/Iran News: Stating the fact that Trump's recent remarks show the depth of his brutality well, Kamal Kharazi added that such insults not only have can help the US to achieve its goal but also could make the Iranian nation more united and informed of the resistance which they should have.

Regarding the sanctions imposed on 18 Iranian banks by the US Treasury Department, Kharrazi said that the United States is seeking to bring Iran to its knees by imposing new sanctions and maximum pressure, but it will still fail.

In a radio interview on Friday, the US president repeated his brazen remarks against Iran, using obscene literature, claiming that his administration had issued a stern warning to the Islamic Republic of Iran against any action against the United States.

The media and political activists in the United States called Trump a "bad-mouthed" person after the interview.
