Tehran (IP) - Director General of the Customs Office in Kermanshah province, west of Iran, announced that 44% of Iran's goods are exported to Iraq from Kermanshah Customs.

Iran PressIran news: Director General of Kermanshah Customs, Ali Asghar Abbas-Zadeh stated that in late March 2023, the Islamic Republic of Iran exported nearly $ 450 million goods, 1/2 million tons in weight to Iraq through its land borders."

He added: "Of the total land exports of Iran to Iraq, the customs supervision area of Kermanshah province exported nearly $ 195 M goods in weigh nearly 514 thousand tons, containing 44 and 40 percents in value and weight terms."

Abbas-Zadeh: " With the export of nearly $83 m. 202 thousand tons in weigh , Parviz Khan Border plays the most important role, and Khosravi Customs, in the second place, with exports $50 m goods, 144 thousand tons in weigh."

He announced that the majority of exported goods included rebar, iron, tiles, ceramics, fruits and vegetables, stones, dairy products, plastic products, disposable containers, etc.

With 371 kilometers of common border with Iraq, Kermanshah province, with 2 official cross borders and 5 border markets, exports more than $ 3 B annually. Parviz Khan border is the economic hub of western Iran and 45% of non-oil goods are exported through the border.
