The sisterhood agreement between the Kerman & Armavir

Tehran (IP) - The sisterhood agreement between the Kerman Municipality, Iran, and the Municipality of Armavir, Armenia was signed virtually in the presence of representatives of the two countries’ Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Iran Press/Iran News: Seyed Mehran Alamzadeh, Mayor of Kerman, in an online meeting held on Wednesday evening in the presence of the Ambassador of Armenia and the Municipality of Armavir, stressed the appropriate position of Kerman in various historical, cultural, and economic fields, emphasizing the promotion of international interactions.

Alamzadeh expressed hope that the Kerman Municipality will be able to share its experiences with Armavir Municipality in the field of urban development, urban planning, urban services, and sustainable urban incomes, as well as in the field of culture and tourism.

The Ambassador of Armenia to Iran, Artashes Tumanian, also mentioned in this virtual meeting, referring to the cooperation of other Armenian provinces with different provinces of Iran: "I hope that a good cooperation and relationship will be established between Kerman and Armavir."

Armavir Mayor David Khudatyan also expressed hope that the conclusion of this memorandum and the establishment of good communication and interaction between the two provinces will be used as a model for cities and parts of the two countries that do not interact with each other.
