Iran Press/ Europe: Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has arrived on an official visit to Moscow where he will hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin on November 28, the Kazakh president’s press service said on Sunday.
"Talks between the two heads of state will be held tomorrow. Apart from that, the two leaders will virtually take part in the Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia," it said.
It is Tokayev’s first foreign visit after he won the November 20 early presidential election with 81.31% of votes and was inaugurated on Saturday.
He already paid a working visit to Yerevan to attend a meeting of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), a Russia-led security bloc.
On November 29-30, the Kazakh president will pay an official visit to France. His talks with French President Emmanuel Macron are expected to focus on the prospects for the development of strategic partnerships in trade-and-economic, investment and humanitarian spheres. 219
