Tehran (IP) - The spokesman of Iran's Judiciary said the response of the Iranian nation to the arrogant British government that intends to intervene in Iranian internal affairs is always regrettable.

Iran PressIran News: Masoud Setayeshi made the remark on Tuesday with regard to the meddling tweet of the British ambassador to Tehran on the occasion of Iranian National Journalists Day.

At his weekly press conference, Masoud Setayeshi told reporters that the Iranian nation will not let anyone dare do such insolence again.

He recalled: In history, there are no names of those who intervened in Iran's internal affairs, and Iranians have fought against colonialism.

The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the British ambassador to Tehran in protest at his comments about the situation of journalists in Iran. 

Simon Shercliff posted last Tuesday a tweet asking the Iranian government to “release all arbitrarily detained individuals, including all journalists.”
