Iran Press/ Iran news: A press conference of religious leaders (Armenians, Assyrians, Jewish, and minority representatives of Iran's parliament was held on Oct. 23, 2023.)
Attending the press conference, Yunus Hamami Lalezar said that what Israel has committed is an inhuman and cruel crime against defenseless people in Gaza.
He urged for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza in order to send humanitarian aid to those who have been besieged there.
Also as the other keynote speaker Vanya Sargiz, the bishop of the Assyrian- Catholic Church in Iran expressed his deepest condolences to those who lost their lives in the Israel raid against Palestinians.
He called humanitarian communities to condemn Israel's crimes and further noted: "Why international communities are kept silent and do nothing?"
