Iran Press/ Iran News: On the sidelines of Wednesday's meeting of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Eslami stated: "The Westerners were obliged to help Iran under the nuclear deal, but the commitment was not fulfilled; what Iran has achieved in nuclear science is based on domestic research and development, and no one can stop it."
He announced that increasing the power generation ceiling of nuclear power plants to 8,000 MW is on the agenda.
The head of the AEOI said that some of the cameras had been damaged during recent terrorist operations, leading to two harsh and destructive reports by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA); hence, a meeting was held with the Agency director-general Rafael Grossi to clarify the issue.
The remarks came following a visit by Rafael Mariano Grossi, Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency to Tehran and his meeting with the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Mohammad Eslami.
Following their meeting, the two sides issued a joint statement reaffirming the spirit of cooperation and mutual trust.
