Iran's deputy foreign minister confirmed on Sunday that the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) commission meeting will be held next Friday.

Deputy foreign minister for political affairs, Abbas Araqchi, speaking on sunday said following an Iranian request, the JCPOA commission meeting will be held next Friday.

Araqchi emphasized that U.S. will not be present at the commission meeting.

Araqchi added:  "We are waiting to see if the Europeans can be committed to their obligations enshrined in the JCPOA" . He said: "Guaranteeing Iran's national interests is the main aim of negotiations.Talks will focus on JCPOA and no other issue will be discussed."
