The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has reported that since the onset of the Israeli regime's assault on Gaza, more than 14,500 Palestinian children have lost their lives. Women and children have borne the brunt of the war's devastating impact.

Iran Press/West Asia:  UNICEF revealed that in just one month, 160 Palestinian children were killed in Gaza. Meanwhile, Al-Araby Al-Jadeed reported that the war has left women in Gaza facing dire conditions, stating that they, alongside children, suffer the most from the ongoing conflict.

The report highlighted the catastrophic consequences of Israel's aggression on Gaza's population, particularly women and children, who endure immense hardships amidst the lack of basic resources.

Al-Araby Al-Jadeed further noted that the Israeli military's forced displacement policies have rendered two million Palestinians homeless, with women and children comprising the majority of the displaced. Even those who sought refuge are not safe, as they continue to face relentless bombardments.

Life for women in Gaza has become increasingly unbearable, the report emphasized, particularly with the complete absence of electricity and the resulting lack of essential appliances. Women are forced to endure grueling physical burdens, constant anxiety, and the inability to find any respite amidst the crisis.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has launched a devastating war on Gaza, causing severe destruction to 70% of homes and infrastructure in the area. The ongoing siege has exacerbated an already dire humanitarian crisis, leading to unprecedented famine and starvation that threaten the lives of Gaza's residents.

Despite these atrocities, the Israeli regime has admitted that, even after 15 months of conflict, it has failed to achieve its stated objectives of dismantling the Hamas movement and recovering Israeli hostages from Gaza.
