Lebanon (IP)- The Israeli regime targeted the southern part of Lebanon's capital Beirut with 12 consecutive air strikes in less than 30 minutes during the last few hours Friday early morning.

Iran Press/West Asia: The Israeli fighters bombed Bourj el-Barajneh municipality in Beirut southern Dahiya during the last hours; due to the severe raids, several residential buildings were fully destroyed. 

A-Marija and al-Beqqa were also reported to be hit by the Israeli fighters.

Some news sources reported that the air raids on southern Dahiya were the severest during the recent weeks. 

The air raids this morning have so far claimed the lives of 37 people and left over 150 others wounded.  

Israeli Channel 14 said the air raids aimed to hit Hashem Safi ul-Din the probable next leader of Hezbollah.
