Iran Press/ Middle East: Israeli settlers and militants attacked residents of Bab al-Salsala on Saturday night, using pepper spray on Palestinians and injuring some of them.
Residents of Bab al-Salsala in the Old City neighborhood of Jerusalem Al-Quds oppose the Zionists' attempt to launch a so-called flag march in the old part of the city, and the Israeli military and settlers clashed with residents of Bab al-Salsala at night due to Palestinians' opposition to the march.
For almost 30 years, the Zionists have held a march in Al-Quds called the Flag March, chanting anti-Palestinian slogans. The march is scheduled to occur today (Sunday) in the old part of Al-Quds, and Palestinian resistance groups have warned Israelis.
Meanwhile, Israeli troops have been deployed extensively in the Old City of Al-Quds, in the historic Bab al-Amoud area, to lead the march in the neighborhood.
On Saturday, Israeli troops and settlers also attacked the Al-Aqsa Mosque and clashed with Palestinians.
