Iran Press/Middle East: According to the Zionist Media sources, and "Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI)" “complex trial was held in the open sea” and involved two Long-Range Artillery Weapon Systems (LORA).
Developed by IAI’s MALAM division, LORA is a sea-to-ground and ground-to-ground system which comprises a long-range ballistic missile, a unique launcher, a command, and control system, and a ground/marine support system.
The LORA system provides ballistic assault capabilities for multiple ranges with a precision level of 10 meters CEP.
“The first scenario involved a short-range launch to 90 kilometers and the second to a long range of 400 kilometers,” IAI said in a statement, adding that “In its ground version, the weapon system was deployed on a ship in the open sea to comply with the safety requirements of trials of this type.”
It said the test was carried out at an unspecified date during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Benjamin Netanyahu welcomed the news and said: " We continue to guarantee Israel’s security in both offensive and defensive means."
After a 33-day summer war in 2006, Syria is the latest scene of the Zionist invasion in the past years. Israel has launched hundreds of attacks in Syria, targeting government troops and allied forces who fight terrorists.
