Iran Press/ Europe: Speaking at the parliament, Irish parliament member Clare Daly, called Pegasus hacking and spyware as an attack on democracy and human rights.
Referring to a report, the Irish activist further added that the problem was bigger than spyware. There was a nexus between it, state hacking, disinformation, and electoral interference.
Pointing to Israel's leading role in the dark art, Daly termed Israel a disinformation epicentre.
"You can do what you like as long as you don't meddle in Israel, the US or Russia," she said, stating the companies' operations basis in Israel.
In the end, she warned consequences about calling Israel a friend and urged the need to change the relationship between the EU and Israel.
