Tehran (IP) - The spokesman of Iran's government says the Israeli prime minister fears the revival of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and the secession of the Deal of Century in the region.

Iran PressIran News: In his weekly press conference, and in response to a question on the Israeli Netanya's recent threats to Iran Ali Rabiei said the entire world knows are well aware of the Israeli regime's projections and that the regime's aim of such threats is not clear.

The Prime Minister of the Israeli Regime attributed the explosion of a vessel in open waters to Iran and threatened that it would hit Iran anywhere in the world.

Ali Rabiei said Iran's strategy is to maintain peace and security in the region with the security of waterways as its priority.

He stated that Netanyahu's comments and policies had better be examined in their psychological roots.

Non-approval of FATF

Elsewhere in his presser, the Iranian government spokesman said: "Some people may not agree with the lifting of sanctions, but both the Iranian people and the governments and nations of the world know that in 2018, Iran faced a Trump melancholy phenomenon. Three US officials have also said the Maximum Pressure policy, which was accepted by the Trump government, had no effect. Yes, I still believe that sanctions have no choice but doomed to fail.

"The United States has no choice but to lift the sanctions required to implement UN Security Council Resolution 2231. Although the new US administration, like the former administration, has started a futile, losing-losing game that will not work, it will soon realize that lifting sanctions is the best and fastest way for all parties to return to commitments and resume fruitful diplomacy," he added.

The government spokesman noted: "As for FATA, which mechanism in politics that solves all the problems alone?" This is an unreasonable expectation from the adoption of a series of international financial regulations, but I believe that getting into the FATF list will have detrimental effects, exporting and bringing currency into the economic cycle will be difficult, and friends and neighbors will lose interest in working with Iran. Interaction with the global economy will be almost difficult, and I would like to say that with the approval of these bills, we will not help to more self-sanctions."
