Tehran (IP) - Iran's Minister of Culture says the Islamic Revolution of Iran is the new version of the Bithat ( of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Iran PressIran News: Bi'tha or Biathat means the selection of a prophet by God for the guidance of people. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) the age of forty in the Hira Cave in Mount Nur (close to Mecca) has been chosen as a prophet and the first verses of the Quran have been revealed to him.

Also, Mab'ath means the beginning of the prophet's mission, when the Prophet received the very first verses from his Lord; when he was meditating, reflecting, and worshiping in Cave Hira. For 10 years, the Prophet used to climb this mountain and stay in this cave.

Mohammad Mahdi Esmaili, Iranian Culture Minister, as the keynote speaker of the inauguration ceremony of the 39th International Holy Quran Competition delivered his speech at Tehran's International Conference Center on February 18, 2023.

Mohammad Mahdi Esmaili said that Imam Khomeini revived Bi'tha after 14 centuries to liberate humankind from the tyrants of the time. 

Esmaili noted that the Islamic Revolution with its Quranic message was a survivor to free people not to be oppressors' slaves.

He referred to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution's Quranic demands and stressed that the Culture Ministry considered itself the audience of the demands.

He talked about the Quranic squads across the country to train Quran teachers, with the putting Quran on the administration's cultural agenda.
