Tehran (IP) - The chairman of the Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC) reported the launch of the COVID-19 indicator system by the very center.

Iran Press/Iran news: Mohammad Javad Dehqani said on Monday that the COVID-19 indicator system was launched to accelerate the process of informing about the coronavirus and provide the latest scientific findings on the issue.

ISC’s information is updated three times a day, and in addition to presenting the instantaneous statistics on the number of infected and dead people by coronavirus as well as the number of the recovered, the system contains more than 9,000 full-text articles on Coid-19, Dehqani added.

Noting that with the new articles published, the system’s information on COVID-19 is added, ISC chairman said the launch of the system was welcomed in national and international levels such that it has already been uploaded in D8 member states (Iran, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Turkey, Malaysia, Egypt, and Nigeria).
