Iran Press/ Iran news: Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf said on Sunday that with its intelligence superiority, IRGC has been monitoring the country and region and thwarted the enemies' plots against Iran.
Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf made the remarks at the Congress of Commemorating IRGC's Intelligence Organization Martyrs.
He stated that the enemies of Iran and their elements within the country try to undermine the popular entity, noting that IRGC is a people-oriented ideological entity and a legacy-bearer martyrdom culture.
He highlighted the culture of Jihad (endeavor) and martyrdom and trust in God as the code of victory over enemies, through which Martyr Lt. Gen. Soleimani succeeded in crushing the US-baked terrorist Daesh (ISIS) group.
The parliament speaker stressed that IRIGC must remain people-oriented and popular, saying people with different thoughts are thankful for the security of the country maintained, to a great extent, by IRGC and the sacrifices of its staff, including the intelligence organization.
Ghalibaf reminded the attendees of the fact that the power of the Islamic Republic arises from the heart of the people, and the more the people wholeheartedly support the system, the more it gets consolidated as it was so during the Sacred Defense era.
