Iran Press/Iran news: The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps’ deputy commander for Health, Rescue, Treatment, and Medical Education, Brigadier General Ahmad Abdollahi in an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Sunday 1 March said that after receiving Iran's Ministry of health's demand to cooperate with Islamic Revolution Guard Corps to fight against COVID-19, IRGC has established a headquarter to fight against Coronavirus providing services all across the country.
However, IRGC top commander went on to say that because the number of those who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 has been highest in numbers in the cities of Qom, Tehran, Rasht, and Kashan, IRGC has been focused on these four cities.
Abdollahi stated that in case of spreading the virus in other cities IRGC also will reach those areas.
Referring to the outbreak as the biologic warfare imposed against Iran and China by the US, Abdollahi underlined that providing relief to the patients affected by the virus as well as curing them considered as the priority for IRGC but other departments of IRGC will respond to this in due time.
