Tehran (IP)- Major General Hossein Salami, the Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), was recently awarded the 'Medal of Fath (Conquest)' by Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

Iran Press/Iran News: The prestigious medal was presented to Major General Salami during a meeting with Ayatollah Khamenei following a conference on compulsory military service in Tehran.

During his remarks, Major General Salami expressed his gratitude for receiving the Medal of Fath, describing it as a great honor and a clear indication of Ayatollah Khamenei's satisfaction with the IRGC's efforts. In August 2023, Ayatollah Khamenei praised the IRGC as the world's largest anti-terrorism organization, highlighting its ability to carry out missions that many other armies are unable to accomplish.
