Iran Press/ Iran news: Iran's IRGC deputy commander for operations, Brigadier General Abbas Nilforooshan, announced that the country had limited the range of its missiles to 2,000 kilometers. This decision was made in accordance with orders from Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, and it aligns with the country's operational doctrines and takes into account the potential threats faced by the nation.
The commander noted that Iran has no technological barriers to extending its missile range.
He added that Iran is currently working to enhance the quality and improve the capabilities of missiles at the range of 2,000 km.
Nilforooshan highlighted the Fattah hypersonic missile that was introduced in June. This missile can maneuver at an incredible speed of Mach 14 to 15. It has been specifically designed to counter the anti-missile systems employed by the Zionist regime. Iran possesses detailed information about the performance of these systems.
Fattah and the other new models of the hypersonic missile that are being designed will inflict high costs on the Israeli regime, he stated, adding that the time has come for the Zionist regime’s existing anti-missile systems to retire.
Stating that Iran's hypersonic missile is being mass-produced, he said: I can tell you with confidence that the missile defense systems of the Zionist regime are obsolete in dealing with this missile (Fattah).
After the unveiling of Fattah, the Zionists argued that they had an anti-hypersonic missile system, but the commander underscored it was a mere bluff and psychological operation.
