Tehran (IP) - Major General Hossein Salami, Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps, emphasized the importance of a united front among Islamic countries against their common adversaries, describing the expansion of the battlefront as a strategy to disintegrate the enemy.

Iran PressIran news: Speaking at a ceremony in Tehran commemorating the 40th day since the loss of several Iranian military advisers martyred in an Israeli airstrike on the Iranian embassy in Damascus, General Salami highlighted the need for Islamic countries to join forces against the arrogant powers. He noted that Muslims face a common enemy, share a common fate, and have common aspirations.

The IRGC commander stated that Iran has successfully blocked the enemy's path in the eastern Mediterranean Sea and that the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps Quds Force is tasked with preventing enemies from penetrating the Muslim world. This, he said, is crucial for safeguarding Iran's national security and the security and dignity of other Muslims.

Salami warned that the presence of arrogant powers, particularly the United States, in the Islamic world brings only destruction, poverty, and massacre. He recalled that the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, has described Iran's presence in the region as a key component of the Islamic Republic's power and security, which is why the enemies are opposed to it.

The IRGC commander also criticized the US for its opposition to Iran's nuclear power, uranium enrichment capabilities, and its presence in the region, describing it as a sign of America's deep hostility towards the Islamic Republic's elements of power. Salami further emphasized that the mission of the IRGC Quds Force is to block the enemy's penetration into Islamic lands and that Muslims will not tolerate "oppression" by the enemies. He also highlighted the ongoing Gaza genocide as an example of the true face of Western civilization.

The IRGC chief commander also noted that the US portrays itself as a supporter of human rights but, seeks dominance, and that Israel's political lifetime is nearing an end.
