Tehran (IP): The Chief Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps called Martyred Amir-Abdollahian a perfect character and a role model whose intelligent leadership and his political courage made a brilliant career in Iran's foreign policy.

Iran Press/Iran news: The Chief Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps said that Amir-Abdollahian did not limit Iran’s foreign policy to relations with governments and boosted the diplomacy of the resistance.

Hossein Salami, the Chief commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran Revolution Guards Corps, while speaking at the ceremony honoring martyr Hossein Amir-Abdollahian (Iranian former Foreign Minister) added that the greatness of a country is the greatness of the characters, events, and incidents that are built in it. He also further stressed that Iran is full of exceptional events.

Salami further added: "In 33 months active of diplomacy, Amir-Abdollahian left deep and lasting effects in a short period."

Iran's top military official emphasized: The world thought that Iran would move towards isolation, actually the world wanted to reduce our influence in the region and surround us with problems in Iran, but his intelligent leadership and his political courage made a brilliant career in Iran's foreign policy.

Major General Hossein Salami, Chief Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps, added: "The enemy was lurking everywhere, but joining Shanghai and cooperation with BRICS, reducing tension with the neighbors, were among the actions of Amir Abdollahian."

Salami pointed out: "Amir-Abdollahian met with the leaders of the resistance and had the support of Palestine on his agenda."

Referring to the difficult years of the revolution, he said: "When he took the office at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, seditious incidents took place in Iran that tried to isolate Iran, but thanks to his efforts the sanctions became ineffective, the Al-Aqsa Flood operation took place, and Operation True Promise (a historic operation) also took place during his tenure." 203, 204
