Iraqi jet fighters bombard ISIS terrorists positions

Iraqi fighter jets bombed ISIS hideouts in the Hamrin Mountains in Diyala province, killing many of these terrorist elements.

Iran PressMiddle East: According to Sputnik news agency on Sunday, The Iraqi Security Information Group said in a statement that F-16 fighter jets launched new attacks west of the Hamrin Mountains under the command of the Joint Operations Command, based on accurate intelligence data.

According to the statement, the Iraqi army operation destroyed the terrorist headquarters and killed several ISIS leaders inside the headquarters.

Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi also announced on Saturday that ISIS' No. 2 man and dozens of leaders of the terrorist group had been killed during a recent operation by the country's counter-terrorism service.

Iraq announced the military defeat of ISIS in late 2017, but ISIS remnants are still present in some parts of the country and carry out sporadic and limited terrorist operations in various parts of the country.
